Omnisend Integration

Overview

The Omnisend integration lets a merchant forward Address Guard's address-lifecycle events into their Omnisend account as custom events, so they can trigger Omnisend automations, flows, and segments off what AG does to an order's shipping address.

Each event preforms an inline contact update (by customer email address search) to ensure the order ID and other personalized information flows to each correct customer within Omnisend.


Get Started

  1. From your Address Guard account, click into: Integrations > Omnisend > Connect

  2. Once on the setup page, enter in your Omnisend API Key.

  3. After you’ve entered in the account name, click “Connect” and the validation process will occur.

  4. Once you’ve completed the connection, click Save at the top and you’re all done.


Events

Today our Omnisend Integration supports 4 address status based events including:

AG Status

Fired Event

Event name (Omnisend)

Accepted Suggestion

Customer accepts an AG-suggested corrected address

ag_address_suggestion_accepted

Confirmed

Customer confirms their original address is correct

ag_address_confirmed

Updated

Customer manually edits their shipping address

ag_address_updated

Undeliverable

The original address is invalid / undeliverable for delivery.

ag_address_undeliverable

You can customize which events to enable from the Omnisend Integration page.


Properties

Depending on the specific event fired to Omnisend, the following properties will provided when we pass the event structure to your account:

  • eventName

  • origin (addres-guard)

  • order_id

  • ag_status

  • platform

  • original_address

  • updated_address
