Slack Integration

Written by Ryan Haidinger

Overview

Address Guard can send real-time alerts straight into a Slack channel of your choice, so your team can stay on top of order and address activity without logging into the dashboard. Once you connect your Slack workspace, Address Guard posts a short message to your chosen channel whenever a key event happens - like an order being placed on hold or a customer confirming their address.

Connecting is quick: you authorize Address Guard in Slack, pick the channel where you want alerts to land, and choose which of the four event types you'd like to be notified about. Every event can be switched on or off independently, so you only get the alerts that matter to your workflow.

Get Started

  1. From your Address Guard account, click into: Integrations > Slack > Connect

  2. After clicking Connect a dialog box will open asking you to authorize the app in your Slack workplace.

  3. Pick the single Slack channel where alerts should be posted.

  4. Toggle each of the four events on or off. All are enabled by default.
