Overview
This guide will walk you through how to setup the Shipping Banner to appear on your checkout flow. The banner is a text only prompt that will appear for all orders, and is not based on predetermined logic or rules. The banner is meant to remind customers about your shipping policies or about possible fees if they fail to update the address correctly.
Note: This feature is available for Shopify Plus brands using Checkout Extensions, and is supported for both 1 page & 3 page checkout.
Get Started
To begin using the Shipping Banner on your checkout there are two steps to follow:
Customize text within Address Guard
Add the banner to your checkout page in Shopify
Address Guard Setup
Display > Shipping Banner
Customize the text that will appear on the banner, then click Save.
Shopify Setup
Settings > Checkout
Click "Customize" for your active theme to access the Checkout Editor
Click "Add app block" and select the extension called "Address Guard Shipping Banner". This will now appear below the Shipping Title on your checkout page.
Click Save
Once you've completed both steps, the Shipping Banner will appear for all customers processing an order on your store.
